Objective
To provide a forum for the critical assessment of present knowledge on experimental methods of noise research in nanoscale electronic devices, to specify directions for future research of fluctuation phenomena in quantum dot and quantum wire devices. To promote and to improve links between scientist from NATO and Partner countries. ARW will also help to strengthen the scientific communities in the new NATO and Partner countries.

Participation
The attendance will be limited to not more than 50 experts, by invitation only. Applications to attend (registration) will be accepted until March 30, 2003, at the workshop website. Late applications will be considered only if space is available. The final selection of participants will be made in consultation with NATO, respecting their recommendations on numbers of participants from various countries. The selected participants will receive official invitations in April 2003. Participants accepting these offers will be asked to return signed offers within two weeks of offer receipt. Based on acceptance, the workshop management team will develop an attendance list.

Participants are responsible for obtaining their own health, accident and travel insurance, as well as visa to enter Czech Republic and/or any other country visited during their travel. If you need invitation letter for your visa, please contact the workshop Secretariat.
